I don't really like to write about me! But if you're interested...

My love for nature really started when my family moved to Ben Lomond, California. We lived on 3 acres of woods filled with trails, poison oak, bugs and critters. My sister and I would go outside and roam all day. We followed deer trails, climbed trees and made forts. We would only go inside when our bare feet were so cold we could no longer feel them!

I try to bring that sense of discovery I had as a kid to my photography. I still marvel at the beauty and the harshness of nature. I hope I never lose that!

I am never happier than when I am out in the wilderness hiking, camping with my family, or making photographs.
